Players write songs from a hand of cards, record and release them, and play shows. Everyone shares one world and one set of charts, so the artists ranked above and below you are other real people rather than opposition the game invented.

No streaks to break, no daily login rewards, no timer that takes something back because you had a week. You come back to more than you left, and one screen telling you what happened.
Purchases are creative extras and an ad free upgrade. Nothing for sale moves you up a board, so nobody outranks you by spending.
Where a game generates something, it says so, names the model that did it, and labels the result wherever it appears outside the game. The rules, the scoring and the balance are written by a person.
